I am so grateful to have discovered 

Who I really am

Even though this person

Is far less likable than I expected,

Seems unlikely to receive standing ovations

For its mediocre performance,

The sun shines upon this person ,

Without bathing it in unbearable light and allure,

I exist, therefore I am

Life is simple – better to be one consistent disaster

Than small bits of disparate personalities

Sewn together as one.
